Idan advises emerging growth and public companies on the structuring and negotiation of technology-related commercial transactions. Idan’s practice focuses on intellectual property exploitation, licensing, development, strategic alliances and joint ventures, as well as related data privacy and security matters. He also works closely with the firm’s corporate attorneys on mergers, acquisitions, spin-outs, and venture capital investments in addressing the technology and intellectual property rights involved.

Prior to joining H-F & Co., Idan practiced commercial law and litigation in top-ranked law firms in Israel. Idan maintained a diverse commercial practice, advising corporations and their executives on a broad range of legal disciplines including contract law, intellectual property, and dispute resolution.

Idan received his Master of Laws, focusing on technology and entrepreneurship, from Cornell Law School (Cornell Tech campus, New York City), where he specialized on providing legal counseling to tech companies in the increasingly complex and dynamic digital economy.
