Amit is a special Expert Counsel at H-F& Co.’s Technology, Cybersecurity, Privacy and AI practice, is a recognized a leader at the intersection of law, technology, and digital innovation, with extensive expertise in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, data governance, cloud computing, digital regulation, and emerging technology policy. Combining deep legal expertise with a comprehensive understanding of technology and public policy, Amit advises clients, including multinational corporations, start-ups and technology-driven organizations, as well as well as governments, regulators, on the governance of emerging technologies, complex legal, compliance, and helps client to navigate strategic issues arising from digital transformation and the adoption of advanced technologies.

Prior to joining H-F Co., Amit held the most premier public-sector roles in the Israeli cybersecurity and privacy governance. Amit served as the Head of the Legal to the Israeli National Cyber Directorate (INCD) within the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office, where he played a central role in shaping Israel’s national cybersecurity legal and policy framework. Amit advised on critical cyber defense, national cyber resilience, incident response, technology regulation, international cooperation, and the governance of emerging digital technologies. Previously, Amit served as Head of the Legal Department of the Israel Privacy Authority, where he established and led the agency’s legal function, overseeing privacy regulation, data protection policy, legislative initiatives, regulatory enforcement frameworks, and international collaborations including development of the OECD’s work on trustworthy artificial intelligence and digital governance. Earlier in his career, as Legislation and Legal Counsel Department of Israel’s Ministry of Justice, Amit worked on pioneering legal frameworks for electronic commerce, e-government, digital services, intellectual property, and internet regulation.

Amit is also a prominent speaker in national and international forums. He holds Research Fellowship at the Chief Justice Meir Shamgar Center for Digital Law and Innovation at Tel Aviv University, Adjunct Lecturer in Cyber Law and Policy at the University of Haifa, and head of the Data Protection Officer (DPO) Certification Program at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Serving also as member of OECD external expert groups focused on Artificial Intelligence and Data Protection, and serves on the advisory committee to the Israeli Bar Association’s Ethics Committee on the responsible use of AI in the legal profession
