Nir is an Israeli tax attorney specializing in income tax, with a particular focus on the high-tech sector. Nir has extensive experience advising on the tax aspects of a wide range of international and domestic transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, financings, corporate restructurings, and ongoing tax matters, including intercompany agreements, equity-based compensation plans, and personal taxation. In addition, Nir advises technology companies, investment funds, and high net worth individuals on complex tax matters, with a focus on international taxation, tax residency, permanent establishments, and the application of tax treaties.

Nir’s experience also includes representing clients in proceedings with the Israel Tax Authority on regulatory matters, assisting with pre-ruling procedures and obtaining tax agreements for Israeli and multinational companies, as well as handling complex and large scale tax assessments, including group restructurings, withholding tax arrangements, and the taxation of equity based compensation granted to employees and consultants.

Prior to joining the firm, Nir worked at leading law firms, where he advised multinational corporations, technology ventures, and private clients on Israeli and international tax matters.

Nir holds an LL.B. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and is a member of the Israel Bar Association since 2014.
